AISECT Launched in 1985, is India’s leading education, skill development, services and e-governance network which is untiringly reaching out to the remotest corners of the country to empower people, generate employment for the youth and unfold entrepreneurship based initiatives to create an inclusive society.
AISECT offers skills & ICT based vocational education through a network of over 23,000 centers spread across 29 States and 3 Union Territories covering 388 districts,1070 blocks and 6000 panchayats. These centers have provided vocational education to over 1.9 million people so far and has generated over 15,000 rural entrepreneurs. AISECT has entered into a partnership with the National Skill Development Corporation to impart skills-based education to over 1.3 million people in ten years.
The Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority (IRDA) is a national agency of the Government of India, based in Hyderabad. It was formed by an act of Indian Parliament known as IRDA Act 1999, which was amended in 2002 to incorporate some emerging requirements. Mission of IRDA as stated in the act is "to protect the interests of the policyholders, to regulate, promote and ensure orderly growth of the insurance industry and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto.
